Where Groom Roundtable Has Listings in Miami-Dade

Orientation — what this is

Groom Roundtable serves pet owners and providers across Miami-Dade County, with concentrated presence in the neighborhoods where most of our community members live. We've built relationships with 48 distinct service providers across 8 primary neighborhoods and 12 secondary coverage areas. Our goal is to be useful where people actually look for pet care, not to claim false coverage of areas we haven't vetted.

We list providers where we know them, not where we wish we did.

This page shows which neighborhoods have active listings and what types of services are available in each area. If you're in a covered area, you'll find providers organized by service type. If we haven't yet built relationships in your neighborhood, this page explains how that process works and how to suggest someone.

How to use it

What if my neighborhood isn't listed?

We're always expanding, but we move deliberately. We contact providers in your area directly, verify their credentials and insurance, and get feedback from community members before listing anyone. If you'd like us to cover your neighborhood, fill out our intake form and we'll reach out to local providers we find. It typically takes 2–3 months to build a neighborhood's full profile.

How often do you update these listings?

We update our directory quarterly as new providers join and existing ones change services or hours. You'll see an update date at the top of each neighborhood profile. If you notice information that's stale, send us a message and we'll verify it directly with the provider.

Can I search by service type across neighborhoods?

Yes. Use our advanced search to filter by dog walking, boarding, daycare, grooming, training, or pet sitting, and we'll show you providers across all our coverage areas who offer that service. You can then narrow by neighborhood or price range.

What's the difference between "primary" and "secondary" coverage?

Primary coverage neighborhoods are where we have active provider networks with depth across most service types. Secondary coverage areas have some providers but may have gaps in specific services. We're transparent about this so you know what to expect when you browse.

The reference table

Service availability by neighborhood
Neighborhood Coverage Level Primary Services Provider Count
Coconut Grove Primary Walking, boarding, daycare, grooming 18
Brickell Primary Walking, sitting, daycare, training 22
Coral Gables Primary Walking, grooming, boarding, training 19
Downtown Miami Primary Walking, sitting, daycare 16
Wynwood Secondary Walking, grooming 7
Edgewater Secondary Walking, daycare 6
Allapattah Secondary Walking, grooming, boarding 8

Coverage continues to expand. As of this quarter, 62% of our service requests come from the four primary neighborhoods. Secondary areas grow as providers sign up and verify their credentials through our process.

The key figures

Our directory has processed over 3,200 service inquiries this year, with average response time to clients under 18 hours. Over 87% of pet owners who connect through us rate their experience as positive. Our most active service categories are dog walking (34% of volume), boarding (28%), and daycare (21%). Understanding these patterns helps you see what's reliable in your area.

Common sticking points

We hear the same concerns repeatedly: providers outside our coverage area claim they serve our neighborhoods (they don't—we'd know); pricing seems inconsistent (it is, based on service type and neighborhood density); some pet owners worry about their first contact being with a stranger; and scheduling around work commitments feels impossible. Our directory addresses these by showing you multiple options in each area, publishing actual pricing, and connecting you with providers who've committed to community standards. None of this eliminates risk entirely, but it grounds your decision in real information rather than guesswork.

Your neighborhood may be underserved today, but that's an opportunity to help us grow. When you contact providers in your area, mention that they should connect with us. When you've found someone good, suggest them. That's how this directory gets better—through the same word-of-mouth networks that built it.
