Get Your Pet Care Business Listed

How to reach us

We review applications from pet service providers across the Miami area every week. Our process is straightforward: send us a description of your business, your certifications, and three recent client references. We evaluate about 85% of applications within 10 business days, and roughly 72% of those move to our directory.

Write to us at hello@lamariposaimports.com. Include your business license, proof of insurance, and a photo of your facility or a shot of you with a dog in your care. We look for businesses that have been operating at least 18 months and have either certification or documented experience.

There's no listing fee and no contract. Your entry stays on Groom Roundtable as long as your business operates and as long as our review of client feedback stays positive.

What we do not do

Before you write, know what we cannot offer. We do not guarantee placement or ranking. We do not remove a business unless it closes, changes hands, or breaches our standards. We do not negotiate pricing or terms with your clients.

Before you write

Do you list home-based pet sitters?

Yes. Our standards require bonding and insurance regardless of whether you operate from home or a facility. A home-based sitter who is bonded, insured, and has documentation of at least 50 pets cared for in the last 18 months meets our threshold.

What does certification mean?

Certification from an organization like the International Boarding & Pet Services Association, the National Dog Groomers Association, or Pet Sitters International demonstrates you have passed a standards exam and agree to a code of conduct. It is not required, but it substantially improves your application's standing.

What if I am just starting out?

We require 18 months of documented operation minimum. If you are not there yet, reapply in six to nine months with client references. Trainers and walkers are more flexible than boarding facilities on this requirement — we look at whether you can produce five strong references.

How long does the review actually take?

We contact your references, verify your insurance, and spot-check your facility if it exists (or meet you in person if you are home-based). The median time is nine to twelve business days. Complex cases or those requiring further detail go to 15 to 20 days.
